Brioso Roadmap

Source of truth for Iteration/Quarter mapping used to refine tasks in
Linear, Brioso team. See
.agents/backlog-policy.md for the refine gate.

Iterations/Quarters below mirror Linear’s configured Iteration and
Quarter fields exactly (same start dates/durations) — don’t invent new
period names, extend these when the Iteration field runs out.

Quarter 1 (2026-06-01 -> 2026-08-30)

Goal: monorepo live, libSQL/Turso cutover, TanStack Start strangler underway.

Quarter 2 (2026-08-30 -> 2026-11-28)

Goal: TanStack Start cutover complete, RunPod inference live, A/B dispatch, systemd + git-pull deploy.

• Phase 4: Cutover to TanStack Start — done, pulled forward ahead of the Q2 window
• Phase 5: inference-core + apps/runpod — done, pulled forward
• Phase 6: A/B dispatch (home-preferred, RunPod-fallback) — done, pulled forward
• Phase 7: VPS systemd deploy + CI — done, pulled forward

Also pulled forward, not originally scoped into any phase above:

• Royalty-free catalog (BRI-125). Third product line, packages/catalog +
  packages/verticals/catalog + packages/storage’s catalog bucket, taxonomy-page
  marketplace under /music. Shipped 2026-08-02. See prd.md’s “Line 2.”
• Pricing overhaul (BRI-152/151/153). Retired pay-what-you-want across creator and
  catalog in favor of fixed per-track pricing, plus the Pro subscription
  (packages/billing’s subscription-checkout/pro-credits/entitlement). Shipped
  2026-08-02. The model has since moved to freemium + Pro + Enterprise
  (see .agents/reports/2026-07-31-pricing-model-decision.md).
• GTM / discovery track. The catalog taxonomy pages as an SEO surface, the blog
  (apps/web/src/data/blog/), and the Remotion YouTube/Shorts pipeline
  (videos/youtube/, BRI-140/198) — none of it tracked as a phase above, all of it live
  or in active use by the time this section was written.
• Free-tier value boost — watermarked Studio downloads (BRI-261, sub-tickets
  BRI-262/263/264/265/266). Gives the free tier a real, downloadable artifact — a
  sparse single-tag watermarked MP3 320 per generated track, personal/non-commercial —
  in place of “hear it, then nothing,” while a paid track-level unlock remains the
  path to the clean master + commercial license. See prd.md’s Line 1 and
  capability 6. In progress as of 2026-08-07.

Quarter 3 (2026-11-28 -> 2027-02-26)

Goal: observability hardening, backlog cleanup.

• Phase 8: Observability foundation (#9) — pulled forward to Iteration 4 (2026-07-21),
  superseding the Langfuse plan with PostHog (errors/events/AI-spans) + shared
  obs-js/obs-py packages; otelite decommissioned, replaced by Phoenix. Design:
  .agents/plans/2026-07-21-pr1-observability-foundation.md.

Milestone 2.5 — cost-per-kit instrumentation

Referenced by prd.md’s “kit pricing and its risk”: measure real generation + inference
cost per Audio Brand Kit from test/design-partner kits, so the assumed asset-plan size
and $25-30 cost ceiling can be checked against data instead of estimate. Not scheduled
into an Iteration yet — pull into Quarter 2/3 once design-partner kit volume exists to
measure.

Agency workspace

Referenced by prd.md’s “Not building”: a multi-tenant agency platform — agency
accounts, client-project hierarchies, a dashboard. Deferred until agencies have
actually paid for the current single-tenant kit flow; not scheduled into an Iteration.

Product capability track

Flag-gated survivors of the audio tooling evaluation
(audio-tooling-evaluation.md — rationale lives there,
not restated here). Not yet scheduled into an Iteration; each becomes one when its flag
ships.
